Had a lovely walk into the Coal Mines over Christmas. It was evening time so the light was wonderful.

These photos were taken at Bridport. Interesting "shadow" on the rocks!

What a wonderful break we all had travelling to the north west coast and the Tasman Peninsular, resulting in a wealth of photographic and artistic material to start us off in 2012. Stanley was an absolute delight and we spent a couple of nights there with unusually balmy weather. A walk up the Nut resulted in some stunning aerial shots and a visit to historic Highfield was a delight. The National Trust is doing a sterling job of protecting and restoring this fascinating property. Nick's family have a connection. Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Gilbert has recently finished this convincing likeness of the (apparently) extinct Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine). He has produced a limited edition electronic print from the original wood engraving.
